Over the years, I've worked for different organisations, from small law firms to the big Zuidas firms, the Dutch government, and the European Parliament.
However, I gradually started feeling unfulfilled with my work, and I noticed that it didn't give me the sense of purpose I was looking for. So I took a break from work in 2021. I decided to focus on my personal development and the direction I wanted to take. I realised that I'd been going on auto-pilot for a few years, moving further and further away from what I actually loved: core legal work like writing legal documents, advising clients, interpreting laws and rulings, and building up my legal expertise.
And with that, the idea of Kaur Legal came to be. I wanted to create a brand with which I could utilise my strengths, do what I'm passionate about, but at the same time highlight my heritage.
